SUITE refers to old dances. In the Baroque period, some of the most renowned suites were composed by J. S. Bach. His multilayered music became the inspiration for a project of six mixed-media paintings. The SUITE cycle is a dialogue between a human being and a technological object—an object that brings pain, yet is also capable of revealing hope. The suite represents an intimate, immediate conversation between a person and a machine, a merging of human fragility and digital precision. The project opens themes of interpersonal relationships, inner experience, and the ability to share presence with another human being at a time when society is facing multiple crises and undergoing extreme, rapidly unfolding changes. How do we change when we allow technology into our most intimate spaces? Can it cry and laugh with us?
